Staff of the University have the opportunity to participate in Staff Exchanges at some of our partner institutions across the world. The opportunities can be in the form of skills training, capacity-building, and participation in events.
- The interested staff must identify a partner institution and apply through their Unit Head to OIR to declare their intention to visit. The letter will specifically indicate the intended activities.
- OIR will advise on the availabilities of such application and if positive, we will forward the application to the Vice-Chancellor for approval through the Training and Development Section.
- The Vice-Chancellor shall indicate approval and the terms under which same applies.
- The successful applicant shall be required to present report upon arrival.
- OIR, upon receipt of available positions from our partner institutions, shall communicate the information to the wider university community through the relevant College/Faculty/School/Department/Units.
- Interested candidates will be required to apply through their respective Departments, Faculties and Schools within a stipulated time frame.
- OIR will forward the successful nominee(s) to the Vice-Chancellor for approval through the Training and Development Section.
- The Vice-Chancellor shall indicate approval and the terms under which same applies.
- The successful applicant(s) shall be required to present a report upon arrival.
