The Office, in collaboration with the International Students Association (ISA), organised its annual an end-of-year dinner and awards night for international students of the University of Cape Coast on Friday, 24th July, 2026. 

Pempamsie hotel was the venue for this year's event. Gracing the occasion were Dr. Atta Yeboah-Sarpong (the Director of Academic Affairs) and Prof. Dorcas Obiri-Yeboah (incoming Provost, College of Health & Allied Sciences). Also present were other senior faculty members including; Prof. Alex Azuka Ilchie, Dr. Anthony Yaw M De-Souza, Prof. Martha Osei-Marfo and Dr. (Mrs.) Salome Amissah-Essel.

The night was coloured with beautiful exhibition of culture from the students and there was a reward for the best-dressed male and female student. 

Students were also awarded with certificates of achievements for academic excellence at all levels. Awardees were rightfully praised by the dignitaries for taking their studies seriously and were encouraged to keep at it and become motivation for other students to excel. 

Also at the event, the ISA executives handed over to newly elected executives of the association. The newly-elected executives were sworn in by Prof. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi, Dean of the Office. He admonished them to work hard to sustain the association. 

The annual dinner presents an opportunity for the students to also share their experiences of life in UCC, interact with their colleagues and with management and staff of the Office, and to send-off the finalists.
