The Office facilitates all collaborations between the University and other institutions across the world.

The Office also provides services such as orientations, visa applications, resident permits and visa extensions, housing, and the welfare of international students. It also manages all study abroad programmes


Dinner and Awards Night 2023

The Office organised an end-of-year Dinner and Awards night for all international students of the University of Cape Coast.

The annual event is presents an opportunity for the Office to recognise and award international students who excelled in their academics in the academic year. This year's Dinner and Awards night was held on Friday, 18th August, 2023 at the Elmina Beach Resort. The occasion was chaired by the Acting Dean of the Office, Prof. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi.

Godwin and Blessed
UCC students win PWC Innovation Project Award

Three UCC students, who participated in the Exchange Programme at the University of Limerick, Ireland, have won a cash prize in the PWC Innovation Project Award.

The students: Blessed Sowah, Thomas Bempah and Godwin Fiati, along with a chinese student, Hui, submitted an essay for this project on the role accounting plays in Environmental, Social and Governance Factors.

Their essay was selected as one of the top 5 essays for the project, among 27 entries.

Visit by Delegation from Coventry University Hub

A team from the Coventry University Africa Hub paid a working visit to the Office of International Relations, UCC, on Tuesday, 27th June, 2023. The Delegation consisted of the following members:

  • Prof Nelson Ijumba - International Research and Innovation Programme Manager
  • Mr. Fred Mupende Nsoro - Regional Business Development Manager Peoples Future
  • Mr. Junior Sabena Mutabazi - Regional Policy Advisor
  • Dr Philip Ayoo - Regional Business Development Manager for Academic Partnerships

The visit was to explore opportunities for partnerships, continue discussions on training of nurses, as learn more about the University, and explore other areas of mutual interest.

The team was welcomed by the Acting Dean of the Office of International Relations. Dr. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi and Mrs. Juliana Audria Dankwa, the Senior Assistant Registrar. 

Present at the meeting was Dr. Brandford Bervell and Prof. Dorcas Obiri-Yeboah, Deputy Directors at the Directorate for Research, Innovation and Consultancy at UCC. The Vice-Dean for the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Dr. Andrew Adjei Druye, was also present.
