Visit By Delegation from Brunel University

The Office of International Relations received a delegation of four from Brunel University, UK, on Thursday, 21st November, 2024.

The purpose of the visit was to further discuss the specifics of an educational and research collaboration, tour the campus and facilities, and meet with colleagues and academics in person. This visit was also an opportunity to formalise the partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities.

They were received by the Dean, Prof. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi, who welcomed them to Ghana and UCC. 

The delegation included:

  • Mr John Cossar - The Vice Dean International
  • Prof. Emmanouil (Manos) Karteris - Professor in Biomedical Sciences
  • Prof. Nana Anokye - the Divisional Lead and Professor in Health Economics
  • Mrs. Rasa Akelyte-Rashid - Senior Partnerships Officer (UK, Africa & South Asia)

They held discussions with the Deans and representatives from the School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Economics, School of Allied Health Sciences, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, and School of Medical Sciences.
