Hon. Rev. John Ntim Fordjour
Hon. Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, the Deputy Education Minister and second term Member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency has a multifaceted academic background in Mineral Engineering, Economic Policy Management and Foreign Policy. Rev. Fordjour focuses on supporting the Minister to drive education transformation at the pre tertiary level with particular passion for foundational learning, STEM and inclusive education.
John Ntim Fordjour graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Engineering from George Grant University of Mines & Technology, Tarkwa at age 21. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Economic Policy Management from University of Ghana and currently at the concluding stage of PhD in Political Science at University of Ghana; with research focus on Ghana’s Foreign Policy and decisions at the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council.
Prof. Goski Alabi
Prof. Mrs. Goski Alabi is a distinguished academic, author, consultant, and entrepreneur from Ghana. She holds a BSc in Chemistry, an MPhil in Food Science, a Doctorate in Business Administration, and a PhD in Business Administration. Currently, she is a Full Professor of Total Quality Management and serves on various boards, including the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE). Prof. Alabi is known for her strategic leadership in higher education, serving as the founding Dean of the School of Research and Graduate Studies at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). She is also the Co-founder and President of Laweh Open University College, Ghana’s first accredited open university.
Prof. Alabi has over 20 years of experience in academia, consultancy, and business. As an author, she has published several books on quality management, leadership, and personal development. She is a recipient of numerous awards, including Africa's Most Respected CEO in Education. Passionate about advocacy, Prof. Alabi founded the Consumer Advocacy Centre in Ghana. Her dedication to quality assurance and education reform in Africa has made her a respected figure in both national and international circles.
Prof Abdulwahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN
Professor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN graduated from the old University of Ife (UNIFE) renamed Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) where he earned his LLB and LLM degrees. He earned his doctorate degree at the University of Ilorin where he has been a law lecturer since 1997 and now the 11th Vice Chancellor of the University.
Prior to his assumption as the 11 th Vice Chancellor, University of Ilorin on October 16, 2022, Prof Egbewole, SAN reached the heights of law and academic professions through his appointment as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence. As an active legal practitioner, Prof Egbewole has contributed immensely to the development of Nigerian jurisprudence in several areas, particularly in electoral jurisprudence, constitutionalism, human rights, criminal practices, and general civil practices, among others. In recognition of his shrewdness and political sagacity, he was elected by his law colleagues as the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Branch. He had also served as a member of the National Executive Committee for the Nigerian Bar Association.
Dr. Stephen Appiah-Padi
Dr. Stephen Appiah-Padi is the Director of the Office of Global Education at Bucknell University. He has over 25 years’ experience working with universities and colleges in Canada and the US in faculty and administrative positions. At Bucknell, he directs the University's study abroad programs, including international partnerships and portfolio management, as well as campus internationalization.
Dr. Gavin Wilk
Dr Gavin Wilk is a Senior Administrator for Non-EU Exchanges at UL Global, University of Limerick. He co-ordinates the incoming Non-EU Exchange programme at the University and liaises with Exchange students and partners. He is also an historian whose research interests range from American and Irish history to social, cultural, transnational, nursing, immigration, and political studies.
Dr. Cristina Alfaro
Cristina Alfaro, Ph.D. is the Associate Vice-President for International Affairs at San Diego State University. She earned an M.A. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and is a graduate of the Claremont/SDSU Joint Doctoral Program, where she earned her Ph.D. in International Bilingual Teacher Preparation.
Dr. Damian Cohall
Dr. Damian Cohall is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology and currently the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, The University of The West Indies (The UWI), Cave Hill Campus. In 2018, he was the recipient of The UWI, Cave Hill’s Principal’s Award of Excellence in Teaching, University and Public Service A major part of his contributions to the academy has been his tenacity in forging institutional partnership with other tertiary educational institutions.
