The University of Cincinnati’s International office is pleased to announce the 2025 Call for Visiting Scholar Grants. The UC International Visiting Scholar Grant enables faculty from our strategic partner institutions to form relationships with UC colleagues, discover UC’s campus, and develop joint research projects in their discipline. The purpose of the Visiting Scholar Grant is to launch new sustainable projects and strengthen existing partnerships between our institutions. UC International encourages applications for:
- collaborative joint research that includes undergraduate and/or graduate research opportunities emerging from the faculty visit
- developing joint classes
- establishing collaborative curricula/programs
To apply, please submit the 2025 Visiting Scholar Grant Application Form by Friday, October 25, 2024. Applicants will be notified of the results by early December. Please note that as part of the online application, the applicant is required to prepare and upload the following:
- Visit proposal
- Abbreviated CV
- Identify a UC host faculty member, and obtain a signed letter of support (acknowledging their responsibilities as a host)
- Obtain a signed letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor
Successful applicants agree to submit a report to both UC's International Office and the international office at his/her institution giving detailed information about his/her visit, activities carried out, contacts made, as well as next steps for further engagement. The report should be submitted within one month after the completion of the visit.
